The Space Between Prayer and Plan

The Discipline of Trust

CHRISTIAN NONFICTION · MANUSCRIPT IN PROGRESS

What happens in the space between praying for something and trusting God with the outcome?

For many Christian women, particularly mothers, prayer is followed almost immediately by planning. We consider every possibility, anticipate every difficulty, and work diligently to protect the people entrusted to our care. Yet somewhere along the way, responsibility can quietly become an attempt to control what happens next.

The Space Between Prayer and Plan explores perfectionism through the lens of faith, asking whether our determination to do everything correctly sometimes conceals a deeper struggle to trust God. Drawing on personal experiences and biblical reflection, the book examines the difference between faithful stewardship and assuming responsibility for outcomes that belong to God.

This is not a book about abandoning diligence, responsibility, or thoughtful planning. It is about learning to recognize where our responsibility ends and trust must begin.
